At AmericaneLiquidStore™, we like to think that being a good business goes above and beyond just exceptional products and unparalleled customer service. We’re always trying to make ourselves better in order to set an example of the electronic cigarette and eLiquid industries. To this end, we’ve decided that a great step in maintaining our stewardship of excellence is to become a “green company.”
The duties of a green company are simple: keep your environmental impact as low as possible and work to actively conserve resources. The chief concern of a green company is creating a sustainable business model, both commercially and environmentally.
What Are We Doing?
In striving to be a green company, AmericaneLiquidStore™ has undertaken several initiatives that lend themselves to the eco-friendly way of thinking. Here’s what we’ve been up to lately:
- Recycling paper, plastic and cardboard separately to ensure that each material can be reused to its fullest effect. There are disposal bins located throughout our offices so that recycling is easy and convenient for all of our employees.
- Conserving energy by turning off lights and unplugging unnecessary electronics. We also have motion sensitive lights in some of our rooms that automatically conserve energy when people leave, just in case we forget to turn them off!
- Printing fewer paper materials. We try to email as much as possible and keep electronic records of anything that we can, as opposed to wasting paper by printing things over and over again.
- Recycling our lithium-ion batteries so that they’re disposed of in an environmentally friendly way. We bag all depleted and defective batteries and send them to a recycling service that ensures this process is taken care of for us.
As we continue to grow as a company, AmericaneLiquidStore™ will continue to expand on this list of green business practices as much as we can. We’re always striving to find new ways to exhibit our environmental stewardship as well, so be on the lookout for announcements about us joining new organizations and pursuing new, eco-friendly accreditations!
