All About PG and VG

Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and Propylene Glycol (PG) are the two most common base liquids for all eLiquid varieties. In layman’s terms, these are the foundations of all eLiquid mixtures and the main component for carrying nicotine and flavoring during atomization. These liquids are extremely common and basic in their chemical nature, as well as safe for consumption by human beings.

The main difference between VG and PG is the effect that they have during atomization. VG tends to be a thicker liquid, which allows for more vapor production and usually allows for better steeping of eLiquids as they sit in bottles. PG on the other hand is a sweeter liquid by nature, which enhances the flavor of many liquids and has a hearty impact on the throat hit of nicotine-based eLiquids.

ATTENTION: If you suspect that you may have an allergy to Propylene Glycol (PG), please refrain from ordering any mixture that may contain this base liquid and instead choose a Vegetable Glycerin (VG) option. The AmericaneLiquidStore® company is happy to address any concerns regarding PG as an ingredient in our eLiquids, but cannot guaranty that PG is not used as a component in the natural flavorings that we mix our eLiquids with.
